Parmarth niketan ganga ghat welcomes seekers yearning to immerse themselves in spiritual practices, meditation, selfless service, and divine discourse. To fully embrace the transformative ashram experience, we wholeheartedly encourage you to engage in sadhana, introspection, reflection, meditation, seva, and satsang throughout your stay. Additionally, we kindly request your adherence to the following guidelines, which will enhance your visit and ensure a harmonious environment.

• Residents are required to uphold the principles of truthfulness, non-violence, self-discipline, and courteous conduct during their stay. Participation in the sacred Ganga Aarti ceremony, a devotional ritual performed at sunset with lights and songs, is expected of all pilgrims. 
• Modest attire is mandatory, with covered shoulders, midriffs, and legs (no sleeveless tops, capris, shorts, or short dresses). Women must ensure their cleavage is covered. Yoga students should wear white or a balanced combination of the seven colors, symbolizing purity. Tight clothing should be avoided for personal comfort and as a sign of respect for local customs. Removing shoes before entering buildings or sacred spaces is a customary practice. Inappropriate attire may result in restricted participation in yoga classes or other ashram activities. 
• Should the administration deem it necessary, a resident must vacate the premises immediately upon request. No unauthorized individuals, beyond those listed on the admission form, are permitted to be invited or entertained in the rooms. 
• If a resident needs to leave for two or three days, they must inform the manager and leave their room keys at the ashram office. For absences exceeding three days, the room must be vacated. Locking the room without notifying the management is prohibited, and the management reserves the right to access the room by breaking the lock if necessary. 
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the assigned rooms is the responsibility of each resident. Rooms should be kept in the same condition as when they were initially allocated. Picking flowers or littering within the ashram premises is strictly prohibited. 
• The use of playing cards, radios, or televisions is not allowed. Pets are also not permitted within the ashram. 
• Strictly prohibited activities include smoking, consuming intoxicants or drugs, eating non-vegetarian foods (including eggs), playing cards, watching television, and playing radios or cassette players at high volumes. Additionally, it is recommended to refrain from consuming onions and garlic during your stay. 
• Residents do not hold any tenancy rights or license over the accommodations. Vacating the premises on the designated day is mandatory, even without prompting from the management. 
• When making donations, please insist on receiving a receipt and specify the intended cause (e.g., food for the underprivileged, schools, orphanages, hospitals, rituals, cow shelters, accommodations, yoga and meditation programs, environmental initiatives, rural development, Vedic education, etc.). 
• To maintain discipline and a divine atmosphere, residents are kindly requested not to directly provide money, clothes, or tips to individuals. Instead, donate through the office, and the resources will be distributed where they are most needed.
